Our signs are built for a long life, but the elements do take a toll after years of exposure. Rather than going through the expense of creating a brand new sign, we can often restore the original sign. This saves time and money for the client.
Sign Restoration Before and After
This is a 20 year old plywood and mahogany sign brought back to new condition.
The weathered bottom frame needed to be repaired by cutting out the damaged wood, creating in a new piece of wood molding and piecing it in.
Once the number was removed from sign, we sanded and repainted it. Here it is ready to be reattached to the sign.
The original mounting frame shown here held up well and but needed sanding and repainting and some new mounting hardware. Once installed the restored sign is as good as new!
